I hated school. All they made you do was work, and all the stuff they taught you, especially in math, would never help you in real life. Seriously, when am I ever going to have to find the square root of the circumference of a semi-circle as if it were really a full circle, and stuff like that? Sheesh. No wonder I'm failing that class. History, though, that was my best subject. I loved learning about how everything became to be how it is now and especially how the Greek gods played a massive role in it. I admire my grandpa and what he did, and I can honestly say I'm proud to be Ares' granddaughter.
But anyway, I was headed over to Sam's dorm with my big-as-a-boulder history book so we could do the wretched homework together. What's the fun of working alone when you can work with your best friend? And Sam is smart as hell, anyway, and as the saying goes, "work smarter, not harder." No, that definitely does not mean that I'll be copying off his paper. Coming up to his room door, I didn't even bother knocking. I came over frequently enough, so I just helped myself and opened the door and strutted on through.

Clem, to be honest, was bored. Bored stupid actually. Sam was out doing whatever it was he was doing...though Clem did vaguely remember Sam saying something about dad...not that he'd been listening. He'd had sports for most of the morning but now he was at a loss with what to do with himself. His usual partners in his fiendish prancing crimes were either busy or away, most of the girls who'd usually have garunteed him a good time were off campus...maybe he should have gone wherever it was Sam was headed although knowing him it'd up being something crap like an art exhibition with squiggles on the wall he could have done, with some long as hell explanation as to the 'social relevance'. He had a short enough attention span as it was. Something that boring was pretty much asking to be tuned out.
So there he was lying on his back on his bed, chucking the ball up against the ceiling and catching it again as it fell when all of a sudden he heard the door go and some girl walk in. The gods truly were smiling down upon him.
"Now I know I'm irresistible and all but even I think it's a bit forward you just marching in here, not that I'm complaining or anything," He grinned sitting up as he got a better look. Heck, he must have just hit the mark with every bloody god out there, she was pretty nice to look at and all.

I really wasn't expecting to see Clem, so I came to a stop and just stood there, staring blankly at him as he approached me. Hm, he certainly wasn't that bad looking. He was, however, a Brown, and it'd be an understatement to say that my dad hated the Browns. Daddy despised Clem's mother the way a racist person despises a certain group of people, and he wasn't afraid to let it be known. I was pretty sure the whole neighborhood knew of Daddy's anger issues with Mrs. Brown when he and her went at it from across the lawn -- "lawn wars," as Mom put it once. I could see why Daddy didn't really like Clem, but as he stood here in front of me, I couldn't help but feel somewhat swooned by his looks as I looked up at his face.
"Well, usually when I tell Sam that I'm coming over to study history with him I mean I'll be over within a few minutes and I don't really care to knock on the door since I come over so frequently for the same thing." I answered, shifting my weight and placing my free hand on my hip. I pointedly ignored his conceited comment about himself. "Where's Sam?"

"My brother's been banging someone and he didn't tell me?!" Clem cried looking scandalised, his attention span having faltered and rekindled just in time to hear 'Sam' and 'all the time'. What could you say, he had a dirty mind. However after a little while longer of processing he managed to grasp the rest of her words.
"Oh...Sam's out being a prat round some friends art gallery or somethin' like that...we could have a go at some history though if you like, seeing as he's not here an' all (pretty rude if you ask me, 'specially since you told him). I'm sure he wouldn't mind, I mean really, who's he to get in the way of an education?" He said innocently.

Coming from Clem, I should've expected him to come to the conclusion of Sam and I banging. We weren't, of course. We never even kissed! Not that it bothered me... I mean, don't get me wrong, Sam is very handsome, but we're best friends. I'd rather not find myself lying naked with him in bed yet.
"Why do you automatically assume that we're having sex?" I asked him somewhat accusingly without trying to sound like I was getting defensive at all. I couldn't really tell if it was working. "Oh, an art gallery. Well, if that's the case..." I knew Sam loved art, so there was no surprise there. I wasn't mad at my best friend for doing what he loved. But Clem's offer... I knew there was a second meaning to all that spicy jazzed-up stuff he was offering. I couldn't help but look Clem over once, head to toe, and bite my lower lip as I thought. Daddy would slaughter me if he found out, but who has to know? With a playful smirk, I looked back up at his face. "So how long's class?"
((I couldn't think of anything witty to reply with at all DD: xD ))

((xDDDDD *papts*))
Clem gave a 'sad and mornful' sigh.
"Because love, every time I see you all I can think about is shagging, sad but true love, plus, everyone thinks it...everyone other than me, I think he's just bent and doesn't know it yet. I bet my mate $50 he comes out the closet at some point I mean really, what straight bloke can actually enjoy reading and walking round 'art' exhibitions?" Clem said sadly before his face split into a huge grin.
"Well, it's a pretty good class as far as I know, been known to last quite a bit of time," He smirked.
((Gah I love Clem for the simple fact that 80% of the things he says are actual quotes mostly from prat xDD))

(( -papted- -purrs- xD ))
"Oh, you poor, poor thing." I said in mock sympathy, but he wasn't going to get any sympathy by calling Sam gay. "And I can promise you that Sam isn't gay. I probably spend more time with him than you do since you shag like a hormonal rabbit." I shifted my weight and tilted my head to the side to get the bangs out of my face. "Oh, I don't know, smart and intelligent guys read and look at art? Unlike mindless cavemen like you, who know nothing other than reproducing and having sexual relations with anything vaguely female." Despite all the hissy stuff I was telling him, I kind of really wanted to just screw him. It's not like I haven't had any intimate relations before; I just wasn't sure about having relations with Clem. Sam had told me all about what he does, and frankly I find it hilarious and stupid. But that's what I like, hilarious and stupid. Once again the sly smirk appeared on my face. "Well, I've got plenty of time."

Outfit
"I know, but that's my life for you, horribly unfair," He said 'mornfully'.
"So if you spend all that time with him and he's NOT gay, how comes he hasn't banged you, made or a move or at least tried to shag you? S'not normal see and as for smart and intelligent...well...what's the difference?" He smirked as he got off the bed, his bare torso stretching as he shrugged his shoulders a bit to get rid of the crick in his neck.
"Plus, girls like you like guys like me," He smirked in her ear as he drew closer.
"And don't be so hard on yourself now love, I'd say you were very female and even pretty bloody hot too," He smirked as he reached across and took her hands, pulling her a little closer to him.
((Crap post...ah well xD))

"We're best friends. Doesn't mean we have to bang just to prove it." I didn't bother trying to sound very forceful anymore. If he didn't believe me, fine. I figured I was swooning a bit over Clem, despite how much I wasn't sure I really wanted to at all. "Don't get cocky, now." I had to admit, he was pretty damn sexy. Stupid Aphrodite genes. I tossed the history book somewhere into the dark, endless vortex of his room as he took my hands and pulled me closer. "Were you busy last night?" I asked curiously, looking up at his face like I was looking up at some skyscraper.
((Woo, bad post. Dx ))

"I can't help but be cocky, I have too much to be cocky about," He grinned as he sat against the bed, pulling her closer by the hand against so that she stood right before him.
"And as a matter of fact, yes I did love," He told her pleasantly before pulling on her hand again with enough force to bring her down beside him against the bed and not too much to make it an unpleasant landing.
"So first off I wanna say that I would very much like to do what Sam's obviously failing to do, that doesn't mean I wanna get married, have screaming kids and grow old together...just so you know," He said matter of factly, propping himself up on his side above her as his fingers skimmed up to the bottom of her top, his hand eventually slipping underneath feeling that, seeing as he'd covered most basis, there was no reason why he needed to waste anymore time talking or on any other trivial matters. Plus she'd walked in at any rate and if she hadn't wanted him she would have turned right back out and left, simple as that Clem's ever inflating ego assured him. Make that 5 girls in 4 days then...

"Can't really argue with you there." He did have a lot to get cocky about over. It was also all the reasons that I was allowing him to do whatever he really wanted with me. I settled down beside him after he jerked me down. "If banging meant we had to get married then I'd be a nun. And besides, I don't think I could handle much more than three hours of you at a time." I had no idea when Sam would get back, but I hoped that he wouldn't walk in on us. Not that I'd mind... I'd just ask him to join us. Threesomes can be fun, right? Right. "Now shut up and do what you do best."

Clem grinned, kissing her neck as he pushed her top up a little further.
"Glad we're agreed," He said pleasantly, his lips skimming from her ear to the base of her neck as he began helping to undress the both of them his lips landing against soft patched of bare skin before he moved over her, pulling the covers over the both of them.
-fade to le black-
It was kinda grey outside the window, drizzling ever so slightly as it steadily began to grow darker, the winter taking it's toll on the length of days. Clem stretched ever so slightly, yawning, he must have dosed off after or something, to be honest he'd still been pretty tired from last night and that last bit had been quite enough to completely tire him out...it was good though, he thought with an internal grin.
((The posting side of my brain is failing epically, sorry for the crap post xD))

It was warm, so warm in his bed. Not only from the thick covers, but Clem's body heat was enough to keep it all toasty. It had been a great hour or so, and all I wanted to do was just sleep. Or just be lazy, both sounded quite fine with me. I was all curled up by Clem when I felt him shift, which made me quickly latch a hand onto his arm. "Don't move anywhere. You're my source of warmth." I snapped drowsily, still holding tightly onto his arm.
((Another bad post. Dx ))

Clem glanced over as he felt N....Na...No...Ne...whatever her name was, move her hand against the arm wrapped round her.
"Well don't get too comfy, you're leavin' soon," He said pleasantly before reaching over the side of his bed, pulling the top draw open and picking out the pack of cigarettes sitting atop his stuff. He pulled one out before feeling around for his lighter. It took him a moment to get the flame going but he lit it eventually. He knew Sam wouldn't be best pleased but he wasn't too bothered, propping himself up a little more, moving his arm behind his head, letting out a plume of smoke.

"Eh, whatever." I muttered. I knew I was going to have to leave sooner or later, but for now he would just have to deal with it. I was starting to doze back off when I suddenly smelled smoke. Smoke? My eyes shot open to see Clem lighting a cigarette. Instantly my mind flew to the conclusion that he was going to fall asleep, the cigarette fall out of his mouth, catch the bed on fire, burn him alive, burn the school down, then burn the city of Richmond down. Okay, maybe not that large scale, but still. "Smoking in bed in the dorms? Really?" I said in disbelief, then turned over so that my back was to him. The smoke wasn't as thick when I faced away from him, but still. Clem would have no trouble kicking me out now. All I needed was to just wake myself up a bit more then I'd be gone.
