[/b][/color] she wasnt quite sure what to think. she didnt know if he didnt want to answer or if his answer was that he would side with the gods. to be honest she wouldnt blame him because of his family but it would hurt for her to have to leave the one person she cared about. she really wanted some kind of a war but it was unlikely. there would have to be seeds planted, rivalries struck and faith shaken for such a thing to happen. Charlie was suddenly worried that he had insulted her in some sort of way by not answering. He didn't want to give a definite answer because the thought of war was just so...crazy in his mind, but he wouldn't tell her that. "Hey, you're not crazy." Charlie lowered his voice ever so slightly. He spoke in a whisper so soft that most would doubt words even came out of his mouth, but Skylar was so close, he knew she would be able to hear. "But just to let you know, I could never leave your side." He smiled sweetly letting her interpret what that meant. He just wanted to make her happy.

that really gave her a lot of comfort because true be told she would do anything to get at the throat of ares or any of the gods, she would take any chance she had to dethrone them and bring them to there knees but if he asked her to stop she would. At this point she really would do anything he said. nothing on this god forsaken rock was more important to her than him. " that comforts me more than anything ever has. Thank you. "

Charlie practically choked on his own saliva when he heard those words spill from Skylar's mouth. "Dear." "Love." He wasn't sure what to say or do and he just sat there frozen for a couple of seconds. Calmly, Charlie pulled away from Skylar. She was his best friend not his lover. While he had considered maybe having feelings for her, he never really acted on them. Plus, wouldn't that just make things awkward like they are now? Of course, if she did have feelings for her, he didn't want to hurt her of any kind. Charlie stumbled on his words as he spoke. "Uh, er, sorry, Sky. I forgot the art teacher wanted me to um..help her clean the art room during lunch. Totally slipped my mind. Call me later. Bye." Charlie flashed her a quick smile and practically ran off.
Note: I TOTALLY SHIP THEM! But right now I'm having Charlie be infatuated with Delilah and having him be all confused about his feelings, just so you know!
