This morning did not start good for Bailey, after being woken up by your dad who will do anything to make sure you are up and outta bed at 6:00 am and making sure you get showered, ready and ate something for school and be out the door by seven sharp to make sure you get to your locker in time to get your books for your class. Bailey hated the way her dad woke her up in the morning being loud and obnoxious to make sure that she was up and making her want to go to school, how she hated him for that.
Making her way to her locker, she got her books for the day then started to walk to her English class it was her first class of the day, then it was math. Those were the noly two she wanted to get out of the way and with her dad being the football coach here at Richmond it wasn't hard to get the classes you wanted, when you wanted them. After getting her books she made her way to her English Class, barely in the classroom and she already wanted out. She couldn't ditch cause her dad would know in a heartbeat since he made friends with all her teachers who would rat her out if she wasn't in class, cause if she was sick her dad would text them and tell them that she wouldn't be at school. Bailey walked to the back of the classroom in hopes she wouldn't get picked for anything since all the kids who were the teacher's pet sat infront, dropping her bag to the ground she set her books on her desk and opened her English book wanting this class to end already.

English class was a necessary evil for graduation requirements. They might as well make you sell your soul and any hopes of a social life and sacrifice your sleep schedule in order to get out of this place with a passing grade. Working his nights at the Richmond Movie Theater, Max was paid minimum to sell movie tickets to punks trying to sneak into the rated R theaters and parents and their kids going in for the more appropriate features. Was it his dream job? Hell no. But it put gas in his car and food on his plate, and sometimes the occasional print out of sheet music when he wanted it. "Max, don't forget your books!" Not like he was going to forget them anyway, but his mother was a little more controlling about these things than her son was. "Don't worry mom, I've got everything." Giving her a reassuring nod, Max hurried out the door before she could ask him another question.
Richmond students in the morning were always the same. Dragging themselves from class to class until lunch kicked in--there was something about the cafeteria's food that kicked everyone into high gear. Max on the other hand, was a mellow and boring student to everyone else around him. Max didn't stand out or draw attention to himself...instead he was just there. Being a theater nerd and choir singer branded you as forever alone and dateless, and his social life wasn't anything worth bragging about. "English...ugh, why couldn't I just skip this class?"

Bailey couldn't understand why she just didn't skip class who cares if her father got mad at her, besides Dodger couldn't stay mad her forever may she would be grounded for a few days and that would be it, and they would act like nothing would of happened. While Bailey sat at her desk with a very noticeable bored look on her face she noticed someone walk inside the classroom, he was blonde, tall with very nice eyes she'd seen him around but never really talked to him. She'd seen him walk in and out of the choir and music rooms but she didn't know his name.
When the teacher started talking she took out a pencil and a piece of paper, she wrote something down then folded it into a small square. He looked like he was worth talking to her, well in her eyes he was. Bailey was that person who judged someone by their personality, not by their looks. With a quick look to the forward of the class she tossed the note onto his desk, if he decided to unfold it he would see the words written clearly "Hi, my name is Bailey. What's yours?

The teacher's voice felt like a razor blade against a chalkboard, so Max decided to drown it out by drawing random doodles on a piece of paper. He was so lost in his random artwork that he barely noticed a small, folded up piece of paper being tossed onto his desk. Max read the words written neatly to himself, quietly unfolding the note so that their teacher wouldn't turn around or notice them. It's nice to meet you Bailey...I'm Max. Folding the piece of paper in the same way that she had, Max waited for the right moment to carefully toss the note back onto her desk.
His first question was this : Why was she talking to him? That wasn't a bad thing at all, in fact it was quite the opposite. Of all the people in the class to strike up a conversation with, she picked him and tossed her note in his direction and not someone much "cooler". Max always felt so inferior compared to everyone else..especially when he was surrounded by the school's popular kids.

It seemed like this guy was almost as bored as her, so it mayed a good reason to talk to him not to mention he was kinda cute afterall so why not talk to him? The problem with Bailey is that she was just like her father not afraid to see someone talk, not caring if he knew her or not. A smile appeared on Bailey's face as he opened the piece of paper reading it, looking forward to the board as the teacher started to talk about the semester and so on and so forth.
When she watched the note flop on her desk she skillfully hid it under her hand, looking up at the board then looked down at the note with a smile. Unfolding it she looked back up at the board to make sure that the teacher wasn't looking, Bailey looked over a Max with a smile then started to write something before folding it back up and tossing it back on his desk, You look just as bored as me...xD

Oooh yeah, I really wish I could ditch this class. I don't think that teacher ever shuts up. x-x If there was ever a smiley face that perfectly described his high school experience...it'd be that one exactly. Max tapped his fingers against his desk, to the beat of a song that kept playing over and over in his head. He clicked his pen again and skillfully sent the note gliding over onto her desk. It landed perfectly, right in front of her.
Max looked at Bailey, noticing the way she smiled at him and treated him as an equal. Not many girls like her did, it was a strange feeling to feel accepted...but he couldn't complain. There was no false kindness behind her perfect smile, only a real sense of adventure and curiosity he couldn't help but admire.
[Bleh, this one is short and terrible.....]

When Bailey noticed the note land perfectly infront of her, this time the teacher had her back towards them she opened the note when she read it Bailey couldn't help but giggle a ,that caught a few eyes but not many. Max had a very good point, if it was possible for a teaher to talk students ears off this teacher would earn that award many times over, clicking the top of her pen she started to write back.
You have a VERY good point, I don't think that teacher knows how to shut up. I would seriously pay her just to be quiet for one day. She wrote, folding the piece of paper back up into the tiny square then tossed it back on his desk, Bailey was surprised that the teacher hadn't caught them yet, then again the teacher wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed either.

While their teacher mumbled on about the importance of grammar and sentence structure in a novel, Max picked up his pen to give the appearance that he was paying some attention. Was he really? No, of course he wasn't. He was much too busy with this pleasant conversation to give a crap about what the teacher was mumbling over. I've got five bucks in my pocket...think that'll be enough? Sam patted his jacket pocket, which held his car keys and his small wad of lunch money. Max was a relatively simply guy, who only carried the things he needed and didn't think about much else.
Max took out his car keys, dangling them in his palms which seemed to be a habit he was known for hving whenever he was bored out of his mind. His car was very important to him, an art project he had been working on ever since his mother gave it to him as a sixteenth birthday present. Hayley Fox took a used red Mustang, nothing too spectacular or extraordinary and gave it to her son. A few years later and it came out looking a little like this.

Bailey just felt like dropping her head to the desk with a loud thud wanting to go back to sleep, since she got the not so nice awaking from her dad who loved to bug the crap outta her. It drove her off the wall, but the conversation that she was having with Max seemed to help the boring class go by a lot faster. Thank god. It seemed like this class was going on for eternity and it was never going to stop, well not in her lifetime.
After reading the note she loved over at Max with a sweet smile, with a click of her pen she started to write on the piece of paper that was already half filled with their conversation and so far the teacher hadn't spotted them, witch was a good thing for them or else it would be detenion for both of them and possibly a grounding for her witch only last a few days, I don't think that will be nearly enough, maybe if it would give her lifetime supply of money maybe...What class do you have next period? Bailey couldn't help but ask, since Bailey had gone to Summer School all her years here she only had a few classes that were recommended to graduate maybe if he had a free period they could hang out, maybe even go for a drive when she eyed his car keys.

Max silently tapped his pen against his lips, staring off into space when her note landing on his desk brought him back to Earth. That's a whole lot of moolah haha, guess we better start playing the lottery. My schedule says I have Algebra next hour...oh joy. It wasn't that Max was bad at math or anything, it's just that numbers weren't his most favorite thing to spend his time thinking about. Max was a good student, while school bored him to tears and made him want to stay home. He was terribly shy too..and how he managed to gather up the courage to talk to Bailey was beyond him.
Before passing the note back to her, he added one last scribble. But I don't really wanna go...would you like to skip next class?

Bailey wasn't much for talking to other she didn't know already but something about him stood out from the crowd, she didn't know what but she wanted to find out. Afterall he did seem like a pretty good guy if he was talking to her Bailey noticed the teacher take a quick look over her shoulder to make sure that the students were paying attention, a sigh escaped her, she just wanted to grab her bag and run for the hills and never look back.
When the not landed on her desk a smile appeared on her face, she opened the note being as quiet as she can without the sound of the paper being obvious. A smile appeared on her face as he asked her to skip class with him, with a click of her pen she wrote down her answer the tossed it back on his desk she couldn't help but blush a bit, this started to make her wonder if he knew who dad was maybe he did and he didn't care or he didn't know at all I would like that a lot. -smile face-.

Great. =) After the bell rings we can sneak out (and try to be sneaky about it) and we can go wherever you want, if you have any ideas. If she didn't, Max would just suggest driving around the city until it was time for him to come home. Max didn't have an actual curfew, but instead his mother just preferred to have him home the same time she finished her private music lessons. So if they left right as the bell rang, that gave them a solid two hours to drive as they pleased. Max gave a little half of a smile, closing the lid to his pen and sliding over the note.
His eyes glanced up at the clock...only five more minutes...longest five minutes of my entire life. So he rested his chin in the palm of his hands and waited, ever so patiently for the bell to set them free.

Bailey bit her lip with a smile, he was so adorable already. Bailey was one of those girls who judged you by your personality not by your status or looks you could still be nerd and be Bailey's best friend and so far Max was heading down that road to be one of her new best friends, not ot mention he was very cute. Bailey ran a hand through her hair as she looked at Max with a sweet smile.
After writing down the note she tossed it back on Max's desk It's a date then. Looking back at he board she couldn't help but blush, she know it was already sudden but she was already starting to like Max, there was something that stood out about him but she didn't know what.

By the time he unfolded the note to scribble a quick reply, the bell had already rang and everybody else began to pack up their things. Max however, waited for Bailey. "Now we can actually talk." He said just above a whisper, noticing the teacher was within earshot and he wouldn't want to blow their cover. "I parked close to the exit gates, so we can make a clean getaway." Max was a smart kid, and not just in the book sense either. His mother may have been a little impulsive and rash in high school, but he was much better about thinking things through than she was and still is.
Picking up his backpack and slinging it over his shoulder, he dangled his car keys in his pocket and waited for Bailey to follow him outside the classroom.

Bailey continued to watch the teacher to act like she was actually listening to the teacher but she wasn't. She was too into the conversation with Max to even know what she was talking about, but Bailey was hoping there wasn't going to some test coming up since the paper infront of her was blank. She watched Max scripple on the baby infront of him, when the bell rang.... freedom Bailey grabbed her backpack and swung it over her shoulder, then she heard a voice behind her "Show me the way Max. She said in a sweet manner. Bailey knew she was gonna get grounded for skipping class, but it was going to be worth it.
