Max nodded with a shy smile, that half smile that always found a way on his face whenever he was just a little nervous about something. It didn't phase him one bit that skipping out of school was a detention worthy offense or that his mother would be livid with him. He was hanging out with a girl, and a very attractive girl at that. "My car is right around the corner..." A few steps and they were out into the parking lot where Max's sleek Pony was waiting for him. It was the kind of car that rich kids or athletes drove, with a girl sitting in the passenger side seat. Max almost didn't even feel worthy enough to be seen in it, but it was the only thing he ever felt accomplished to own.
"Here, let me open the door for you..." Taking a few strides in front of her, the shy blonde rushed forward to open the door for her, waiting for her to get herself comfortable.

Bailey followed Max out to the parking lot, she knew this decision would come back to bite her in the but big time but hey, she didn't care. Appearently he didn't either, the first thing Bailey noticed about Max was that he was shy, she could only hope he would come out of his shell soon, he seemed like one of those guys who would be a really great friend and when you need someone to talk to. When he said his car was around the corner she nodded with a smile, when they came around the corner she watched him lead them to a mustang, it was nice and shining in it's glory..
When Bailey was about to reach for the doorhandle she watched Max open the door for her, "Thank you." As she got into the car looking at Max with a sweet smile on her face.

Max wasn't a clean freak, instead he happened to be somewhat of the exact opposite. His car wasn't completely trashed, but the backseat was a holding cell for clothes and past due homework assignments. "I'm sorry about the mess...I'm too lazy to get around to cleaning this thing up." He also didn't have the time either. Between choir practices and competitions and tagging along with his mom, the only thing he felt like doing at the end of a long day was crashing on the couch. Doing something spontaneous and exciting like this was so out of character of him...something he wouldn't normally do. There was something about this girl...something that brought a side of Max he didn't even know he had.
Max tossed the keys into the air, catching them between his palms as he looked towards Bailey. "Since you're shotgun, where do you wanna go?"

This car wasn't even comparing to her dad's car, there was a unlimited amount of snowcone cups in the backseat and sometimes in the front seat unless he cleaned it out cause him and her mom were going someplace fancy, Bailey couldn't help but smile at him, "Don't worry about it, it doesn't even compare to my dads." She said with a sweet smile on her face, he was too cute that was for sure. When Max asked her where they wanted to go she bit down on her bottomlip for a moment, thinking about where they should go, "Hmmmm, how about the beach? She asked him, placing a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear.

"Sometimes I think I could live in this thing with all the clothes I have back there." Max glanced over his shoulder, sighing with frustration as he realized he wasn't ever going to get around to cleaning it. With his schedule, it just wasn't realistic. Starting the engine...hey, that might help. He felt like such a clumsy fool around her, or any girl for that matter. Max nervously settled the keys into the ignition, turning it until he felt the engine start up with a low growl.
"That sounds like a great idea, let's hit the beach!" Max looked at her with an enthusiastic smile on his lips. The car lurched forward as he peeled out of the parking lot, pressing his Nike sneaker down on the gas pedal to get them going in the right direction. The beach was one right turn and a straight shot away from the school. Perfect.

Bailey couldn't help but smile at Max he was very sweet, and kind to her witch was hard to come by at a school like Richmond if you didn't meet the right people you were going to be on everyones shitlist, literally. Richmond may seem like nice place but through it's doors it had kids who would love to give new people an ass beating that was for sure, Bailey looked at him with a sweet smile, before running a hand through her blonde hair "So, what do you do when you're not passing notes in class." She asked playfully to him with a smile one her face.

"I work at the movie theater after school, which is fine I guess when they give you free movie passes." Max shrugged, failing to think of any other positives to working at Richmond's oldest movie theater. In fact, he was starting to think it was the only theater. "I uh, I'm in the choir too." He didn't know he was hesitating so much with that. He just got that way when he was around someone whose life was obviously so much more exciting than his.
"I'm pretty boring. What do you like to do when you're not passing notes?" Max's fingers danced along the top of the steering wheel as they merged onto the highway which was their best bet to getting there fast.
