dancing slowly in an - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - empty room.
My eyes hurt when I stepped into the library. Hangovers I was fine with. I've lived with worse. But hangovers plus fluorescent lighting? No thank you! but I was here on duty, and Jennifer had made herself very clear when she sent me here; "I don't care how hung over you are, you're going to that library whether you like it or not!" In my opinion, I would've rather been punched in the neck a few times. You'd think that being daughter of Apollo would've made me immune to annoying bright lights, but apparently not. Gee, thanks, Dad! I thought bitterly. So much for the "power of the gods," or whatever. I put my hand to my Omega necklace instinctively and looked around. Obviously, dear Jen had sent me here because there was so much crime in a public place where people are forced to be quiet and go through metal detectors every time they walked through the door. Yeah. That must have been it. Rather than stand awkwardly in the middle of the reading area, I proceeded to rip a book from one of the shelves, sit down and pretend to read it. At some point, I actually started reading it, rather than looking through the pictures. What I had gotten was World Atlas: Vol. I. Cool. Monkeys and stuff. I crossed my leg over the scarlet chair and read on, determined not to let my mind roam. ew, i'm sorry. it's short. i'm out of practice. *flails*

Clem wasn't really one for libraries or books in fact, he'd never stepped foot inside the library and despite knowing there was one in Richmond he'd never actually known where. Books were Sam's thing, being smart was Sam things, drinking, shagging, sports and partying were Clem's things, that was the way it worked, without there'd just be too many issues. He just hoped no one he knew saw him in there, he had a reputation to uphold!
Problem with taking so many footballs to the head was that his sense of direction was well...crap. Really crap to be honest. So there he was, stuck walking between bookshelves, worrying hopelessly for his sanity and really wished his less directionally challenged brother was knocking about somewhere.
He was actually becoming quite distressed, books in his mind meant learning; learning was to be avoided at all costs in Clem's book. He was however saved when he saw some girl sitting with a book (he could forgive small things like that). Maybe libraries weren't so bad.
"Alright love," He grinned sitting down next to her.
"Nice..a...t...atta...atta...lass..." He said straining to see the writing before looking back at her with another grin. He didn't mind an earlier women...

I froze in place, hearing a voice next to me. Great. A flirt. I narrowed my eyes and lifted my head to the boy next to me. He was obviously younger than me. "Nice save," I muttered cynically, returning to the book.
WiP (I'll finish later) ew, i'm sorry. it's short. i'm out of practice. *flails*
