Lily dragged the last box up the steps, and into the house. "Finally finished." She muttered, pushing it to the side. While it was a nice, she pretty much hated it. She would have rather had a small apartment, or even a dorm room on campus, but her parents had refused, saying that she had to have a nice place.
Well, it was nice, but it was...expensive. Only the wealthy could afford it, a fact that she tried to hide. People always assumed she was a snob when they found out her parents were rich. Her solution? Don't tell anyone. But it was kinda hard to hide when you had a fancy house. Sighing, she grabbed a couple boxes, and took them to her room. But she really didn't feel like unpacking, so grabbing a sode, walked out onto the porch.

Simbaiya rode by on her 15 speed blue and white bicycle,. an iPod in hand as she rode past Lily's new house. Humming "Amazing Grace", she fell off her bike as she spotted her half-sister standing on the front porch of a newly bought house with a coke in hand. Her bicycle fell, landing right on top of her body as she hit the pavement. Oh great... she groaned inwardly, struggling to get free of the bike that held her trapped to the pavement.
" And I put on a dramatic show when my sister moved in next door. " she mumbled, struggling to get free of her bike.

Lily spotted Simba ride up, and get caught in her bike. Laughing, she set her soda down, and went to help her. "Need some help sis?" She said with a grin, and helped her untangle herself from the bike.

" Oh, hi Lil! " she greeted happily, taking her bike and giving it a good shove. Getting up, she gasped for breath, dragging her bike into her driveway next to Lily's house. " Well, this is what happens when someone is caught up in a bike. " Simbaiya joked, eyes gleaming as she buckled her bike into the garage. With a happy sigh, the eighteen year old opened her side door and rushed in.
Coming out half an hour later, she had a pack of diet cokes and a platter of veggies 'n dip in her other hand. " I thought I could put together a platter of veggies 'n dip. I'm a vegetarian. I turned vegetarian a few years ago before.....the plane terrorism. " she said cheerfully, but her throat tightened when she mentioned the plane terrorism. Her foster mother was one of the people who died.
Tears spilling out of her blue-gray eyes, she bowed her head and sent a silent prayer to her birth mother that her foster mother would come back as the way she was. Nothing happened. Starting to cry, the young adult drew her knees up to her chin and shook lightly, sobbing silently.

Lily laughed, and went back up on the porch to read her book and wait for Simba. "Mmm...yum. I love veggies, but I could never be a vegatarian. Just love meat too much." Her eyes softened as Simba began to cry a little. Walking over, she put her arms around her sister, hoping to comfort her.
