(I am like, so bored right now, so I'm posting like madwoman, lol)
Grabbing her books, Lily hurried to her locker. She was running late on time, and was worried she wouldn't get to her next class on time. She had been forced to stay late at her last class to finish up an essay, and still had homework for that class. University life was tougher than she thought it would be. Not that she was complaining. She sort of enjoyed it, in a weird sort of way.
And it wasn't that the material was hard, it was that there was so much of it. She found the classes rather easy, being a daughter of Athena, but she had so much to do. Essays for this class, grammer papers for this one. And on top of her classes, she had training in her demigod powers, as well as her internship at the library.
Sighing, she stuffed the books in her locker, rushing to her editing class. It was her least favorite class. While she could write a gramatically correct paper, when it came to editing someone else's, she sucked at it. She hurried down the hall, but a boy shoved past her, causing her books to spill out onto the ground. "Watch it!" Lily snapped, irritated, but the boy ignored her and hurried. Rolling her eyes, Lily picked up her books, hearing the bell ring. "Late again." She muttered, and continued on her way.

Benjamin was dressed in his scrubs and a while lab coat that made him look like a doctor. His stethoscope dangled from his neck and he had a coffee cup in one hand. While Ben looked like a doctor, he was simply just an intern at St. Ruth's Hospital. It was a slow and long process to become a doctor, but he enjoyed it. Instead of having class, Ben was headed to the hospital to intern. He was always the first one there simply because that's how he was raised. Plus, it would look good later on when he applied for a job there as a doctor.
As Ben turned the corner, he encountered a blond girl who's items littered the ground. She was on the floor trying to pick them up knowing that she was already late. He instantly walked over and started picking some books and binders with his free hand. He stood up and gave the girl one of his crooked smiles that someone made him look sweet. "l would offer you a hand up, but I only have two."

Lily glanced up as a boy reached down for some of her binders, and books. She gave him a grateful smile, and laughed. "Thanks. I can't believe I'm going to be late. I'm never late to class. This'll be a first. Not that I'm really looking forward to my next class anyway." She took her books from him, and stood up. While she rearranged her books, she glanced at his outfit. "Let me guess, you look too young to be a docter, so you're studying to be one?" She guessed. "Oh, I'm Lily by the way." She glanced at a clock on the wall. "I'm already late, so I guess 2 extra minutes won't matter."

Benjamin handed over her books and binders. He had never been late anywhere actually. Well, except for that one time someone had rear ended him and they had to exchange insurance information. The person was only sixteen, just a new driver, so he was nice as possible, but when he realized he was going to be late, he started to get irritated. "No worries. Hey, it's college. People are late all the time, it's not like they're going to slap you on the hand." He chuckled slightly to make light of the situation.
Ben looked down at his close as well and smiled. "Ah, you got it. I'm an intern at St. Ruth's Hospital. Studying to become a doctor some day." He smiled out of pride. Though he was just an intern for now, he'd be a prestigious doctor some day. Benjamin looked down at his watch. He had a whole hour before he was actually supposed to be at the hospital. "Tell you what, since you hate this class so bad, why don't we grab a coffee or something and tell me all about this horrible class of yours." He gave another crocked smile. While it was something he would never agree to, he didn't mind suggesting it to someone else.

Lily laughed as she listened to him. "Yeah, I guess not. I just hate ruining my perfect record, but oh well. It was bound to happen sometime." He made the situation a little lighter, something she appreciated. "I hear it's not easy to become one, but it's an admirable career."
She brushed her hair back to keep it falling into her eyes, and listened to his suggestion. "I'd love to actually. I can always make up that class later. I wouldn't take it, but it's required for my major. Studying journalism. And you're sure you don't have to be somewhere?" She asked.

Benjamin nodded. "That's totally understandable. I'm kind of a freak on time, as well." Ben smiled then took a sip of his own coffee. He lived off that stuff. Being a pre-med major, he had several all nighters and coffee was the only thing that allowed him to function the next day. "Yeah, it's tough, but my father is a doctor and my mother was a nurse, so I thought I'd follow in their footsteps."
Ben shifted his bag slightly then looked at his watch. "Well, I'm free for another hour if you still want to skip this class. Journalism seems fun, but I couldn't handle being grammatically correct all the time." Benjamin laughed.

She laughed. "Yeah, I'm going completly different from what my parents do. My dad's a business man, and my mom's basically his secretary. They didn't really agree with my choice, but thankfully, they finally accepted it, and supported with me with it."
She nodded. "Yeah, I'd love to skip it. And I have about an hour too. I can skip the one class, but I need to get back for the one after it. It's a litertature class anyway, so I enjoy it. I'm not perfect with grammar, but I'm kind of a spelling freak." She laughed. "Besides, that''ll be what my editor's for when I graduate and get a job at the newspaper. I just need to drop these books in my locker, and then we can go. It's just down the hall." She quckly jogged to it, and pulling out her backpack, dropped in the books she'd need for her next class. Shutting, she glanced at Benjamin. "I'm ready when you are."

Benjamin never gave much thought about his career choice. His parents were both in the medical field and he never even though of being anything but a doctor. Sure he enjoyed his major and helping people, but now he wondered what he would do if he didn't feel the pressure to follow along his family's footsteps. "Well, at least they are supporting you. That's what's really important especially with all the hard classes you'll be taking."
Ben followed slowly behind Lily as she walked to her locker. "I'll make sure to read your stuff. I'm wonderful at spelling, not to toot my own horn or anything." Ben chuckled slightly. "Medical spelling is a bitch, but we have to know it so everything else seems easy in comparison." Benjamin stopped in front of her locked and waited as Lily placed her books in her locker. "Le'ts go." He flashed a perfect smile and started walking down the hall.

"I was worried they wouldn't, but I guess they finally realized I wasn't going to be exactly like them." There had been long disccusions about her career choice, and even a little arguing, but thankfully, everything had worked out. She had gotten a scholarship, but not a full one, so she had needed her parents help especially in that area.
She reached up to brush a strand of hair out of her eyes, careful not to smudge her makeup. She wasn't huge on makeup, but she wore a couple basic things, just to touch up a little. "K, let's go." She replied, following him down the hall.
