the sun shined brightly this day but it seemed to be just like any other. she was sad and down, looking to be left alone in a public place. she walked along the sands, feeling the warmth between her toes with each step. she crossed both arms over her chest and she raised her head slightly to look around but she saw nothing of interest so she soon lowered her head again and gave out a slight sigh. her mother was dead and she never knew her father, he was wasting away in the skies somewhere more than likely and she hated him for it, hated him with all that she was. her anger drove her and made her just want to start a rebellion and take the skies from zeus. maybe the time of the gods such as zeus was over, maybe it was time for a new ruler.

she took a deep breath and stopped where she was. she turned her eyes toward the water and knelt down. skylar took a handful of sand from the ground and she gently tossed it into the water in front of her. "these oceans won't be yours forever. pray that i'm not the one to take them from you. "

Lily parked her silver volkswagon beetle, and hopped out of the car. It was nice day, good to be out. Dressed in capris, a stylish short sleeve top, and flip flops, she shut the car door, and walked out to the beach. And she wasn't the only one out. Another girl, a daughter of Ares, she could tell, was also out. Lily had always been able to sense when another demigod was nearby. While she couldn't always tell their parentage, some gods' kids were stronger than others.

Brushing her hair back, she slipped off her shoes, the sidewalk a bit warm on her feet. She walked out to the boat dock, and sitting down, dangled her feet in the water. She saw the girl toss sand into the water, and say something, but she couldn't catch what it was.

in anger she took another handful of sand and gave it a hard toss into the water. she didn't know why the other gods angered her sometimes and she certainly knew it wasn't her place to be so angry at them as she wasn't strong enough to do anything about it.. or not yet anyway, she thought. she noticed lilly and kind of chuckled a bit as she went from kneeling to sitting and placed her palms on her knees."The oceans won't be his forever. That way you won't have to ponder what i said. "

[/b][/color] she looked over at the blonde and chuckled again as she thought to herself. why did she bother talking to people sometimes? no one would ever understand her in the slightest and no one ever had. "they have reigned in these skies long enough. "[/b][/color] she said as she raised her head and looked up at the clouds. "It's been far too long and it's high time someone came along and took out the old and brought in the new. "[/b][/color] she took a deep breath and moved her palms from her knees, she placed them just behind her as she leaned back a little. she tilted her head back and closed her eyes.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

She heard the girl chuckle, and repeat what she said? The oceans wouldn't be his forever? a minute to respond.
"Probably not. Nothing lasts forever." She said finally. "Though I woudn't let Zeus catch you saying that last bit if I were you." What the girl said wasn't exactly, oh what was the word for it? Well, it wasn't something you caught everybody saying. But Lily didn't think too much of it. Not everyone was a huge fan of the gods, herself included. While she would never go against them, she wasn't their number one fan either. She watched the girl for a moment, realizing she didn't even know her name. "Name's Lily. Yours?" She asked, trailing her fingers in the water.

she chuckled quite a bit as her eyes moved around and then finally locked on lilly. she couldn't help but laugh as the only real thing she feared happened to her long ago. "To hell with Zeus. Let him burn in the underworld and suffer a thousand years of torture at the hands of Hades for all i care. He means nothing to me and neither do his pathetic rules. I don't care his rule as god of gods or what he wishes. he isn't my father.. i never had one. "

[/b][/color] she sat up straight and took a deep breath. she ran both hands across her legs and brought her dress down to cover her knees. "If they really cared about us they would be down here and i would have my father.. "[/b][/color][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Lily was quiet for a moment. "The gods are busy. They have so many kids, they can't be here. Besides, do you really want to start a war with Zeus? He's the leader of the gods, the most powerful one. I may not agree with everything he does, but I know better than to get into a fight with him. Because it's one I wont' win."

again she laughed as she now came up to a kneeling position. she looked over at lilly and just smirked. "I'm skylar walker, i've feared one thing my entire life and that's always come true.. everyone i've cared about has left me and they always will. So damn Zeus.. Do i want to start a war with him? Sure, maybe i do.. What is he going to do about it? Nothing! He is going to hide in his clouds and stay away from me just like my father! "

[/b][/color] wearing her heart on her sleeve could either be a good thing or a bad thing. or her current state she probably didn't really want a war with zeus but she certainly would have some things to say to the god. she just wanted her father. "I can say all i want because zeus.. just like my father.. only seem to step foot on this plain when they want to get themselves wet. "[/b][/color][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Look, I've never met my mom either. She claimed me, and left. Never heard from her since. I know how you feel from that point. I want to meet my mom, talk to her, actually see her. But she doesn't care, just like the rest of the gods do. And I want to say a lot of things to her, Zeus, and the rest of them up there. But I don't want to start a war with them, because if it got serious, I wouldn't win. It just wouldn't happen. So if the gods ignore me, I ignore them. Simple as that."

she rolled her eyes a bit and chuckled. she stood up properly and stretched a bit as she looked up at the sky. would the day come when the gods found themselves in a war with someone like skylar and the ones like her? "then i suppose we should hope that if the day ever comes where the heavens fall and gods die.. we don't meet on the field of battle. "

[/b][/color] one person had the power to change her. the power over her heart but that person would never bother to change her or help her in the way she needed and she knew that. she lowered her eyes and lilly and smirked at the blonde. Lily rolled her eyes. "Yes, I suppose we should. While I'd love to kick some gods into next week, I'll wait for the right time. The time when I can do it without getting killed." (lazy, sorry)
