In every person there is an animal waiting to be released. An animal spirit that guides the hands and body of the person. In days of old, warriors summoned their animal spirits and used their gifts to win wars and combat each other. But those were bloody times and now, in present times, very few know of the animal lurking inside.
That is until January 1st, 2012. The new year prophesied by the Mayans as the final days of earth is upon us. And it shall be done by the hands of man. The animal spirits are awakening, granting mortals unbelievable powers and animal instincts that will hardwire man for one purpose: survival.
In the town of Stone Well, there is an underground world where Hosts and their Animal spirits exist. Bars and underground fight clubs are all secretly placed around the town. But with more and more people gaining their spirits and many deeming this phenomenon a 'mutation', what will become of the town? Will they underground community take a stand?
