Lily sat at in a swivel chair, staring at a computer screen. She was trying to write her article for the school newspaper, but it wasn't going well. Some days, the words came to her as easily as bees to honey, and others...not so much. She had managed to get her short story done for class, and she was rather proud of it, but the article was stumping her. Anything she typed, she didn't like, so she deleted it. She had a couple sentences down, and that was it.
Sighing, she spun around in the chair, trying to get something, anything down, so she could finish it up and head to the coffee shop. She was in a desperate need of a cup, but she couldn't leave until the article was on the desk of the teacher who was in charge of the newspaper. She accepted students to write the articles, edit, and do the design work, with her overseeing the whole thing. All the articles went to her, and then she gave them to the students who edited. The stories would then go back to her for approval, and finally, to the design crew, who would put it on paper.
She spun back around to face the computer screen, and suddenly, an idea hit her. Yes! It was perfect! Her hands flying over the keys, she had the rest of the article done in half an hour. She read over it, made a couple changes, then printed it, and gathered up her things. She headed out the door into the hallways that connected the other club rooms to give the teacher the article.
