Andie is very rough around the edges. She is rude, sarcastic and doesn’t really have a filter. She also has a tendency to mouth off and play jokes often at the expense of others. She doesn’t usually think before she acts. Andie’s loudmouth, cocky attitude hasn’t exactly made her popular at Richmond. She has often been branded as a trouble maker but she does have some skill in manipulation and she is often able to talk herself out of trouble. She usually doesn’t take a lot seriously and treats life like one big game. However she usually never means to cause trouble, and she can be nice underneath it all, she just tends not to think about the consequences of things. However she has been through a bit in her life, as a demi god’s life is usually never easy. She is a little bitter and resentful and she tries to cover it up by joking around. She loves to draw and paint, because she finds it gives her a release, and a way to get thoughts out. She tends not to care about manners or politeness and when called on it she will behave in a rude manner just to irritate the person.

Sierra West was finishing up her final year of law school when she met and fell in love with Hermes and got pregnant with a little girl whom she named Andrea after her mother. It was hard raising a child all by herself but Sierra pulled through and she loved her daughter Andie very much. She would also tell Andie stories about her father, about how he was a greek god. Those stories made Andie feel special and important, she lived a happy life with her mother until that fateful day when she was six and her mother died in a car crash. That day Andie’s world was shattered. With no one to look after her she was placed in the foster system. She spent her life being bounced around from one foster family to another. She had problems fitting in, and would cause trouble, often as a way to get some kind of attention. She was sad and angry. The day her mom died she stopped believing in all her stories about being the child of a god. She never really had a place to call home since she was six. This past year her social worker found that her mother had written in her will that Andie was to attend a boarding school in California called Richmond High School, and so she was enrolled in Richmond with the hope that she could find some stability in that environment. Andie was given the choice between Richmond and military school and she chose Richmond, and after arriving she was shocked to discover that her mother’s stories were true and she really was a demigod.
